I've been working for the Grandview School District for the past 18 years - 15 of those have been as a teacher. I currently serve as the lead teacher in the Contract Learning Center. I'm a second generation teacher, who served as a parent volunteer when my children attended Smith school and was hired as a para-pro in 1996.

I'm originally from Ohio, but graduated from Grandview High School. I have a bachelor's degree in social sciences from Washington State University and a master's in teaching, also from WSU.

When I'm not teaching I love being home with my family and pets.
