Grandview School District may approve flyers for distribution through designated school channels when the information is relevant to GSD students and families. Approval does not guarantee that flyers will be distributed to every student, family, classroom, school, or building.
Individual schools may determine how and where approved materials are made available based on available space, school needs, and the relevance of the information to their students and families.
To request approval, submit the flyer in both English and Spanish as PDF files to the Communications Department for review.
Approved flyers must meet the following requirements:
- Flyers must be provided in both English and Spanish.
- A required disclaimer must appear on all materials that are not school-sponsored.
- Flyers must be bundled in groups of 25 in English and 25 in Spanish.
Important Distribution Information
The number of copies provided to Grandview School District will be the total number of copies distributed. School buildings are not responsible for making additional copies of approved flyers.
Providing flyers to a school does not guarantee that the materials will be distributed to every student, family, classroom, or building. Individual schools may determine how and where approved materials are made available based on available space, school needs, and the relevance of the information to their students and families.
Approval for flyer distribution does not include promotion on district or school social media accounts. Schools will not be responsible for posting community flyers or promotional materials on their social media platforms.
GSD communication channels are intended primarily for official district and school information, student and staff achievements, school activities, and information from established district partnerships.
GSD is working toward increasing the use of electronic communication and reducing the amount of paper distributed to students and families whenever possible.
