Megan Biever

Megan Biever brings nearly 20 years of experience in public education and a deep commitment to creating learning environments where every student has the opportunity to succeed. Throughout her career, Megan has focused on supporting students, empowering educators, and building systems that strengthen teaching and learning.

Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington before beginning her career as an elementary school teacher in Franklin Pierce Schools. Driven by a passion for educational leadership, she earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and completed her Principal Certification through the University of Washington.

Over the past nine years, Megan has served as a building administrator, supporting students, staff, and families through collaborative leadership and a focus on continuous improvement. Her leadership experience includes serving schools across Washington State, where she developed strong partnerships, strengthened instructional practices, and worked to create school cultures where students and staff could thrive.

Most recently, Megan served as the principal of Sunset View Elementary, where she focused on building effective systems, fostering collaborative teams, and ensuring students had the support and opportunities needed to be successful.

As Executive Director of Leadership Development and Instructional Improvement, Megan is passionate about developing systems that support educators, strengthening instructional practices, and creating opportunities for every learner to flourish. She is excited to partner with the Grandview School District community and build upon the proud traditions of the GSD while continuing to support the success of students and staff.
