On Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, more than 135 parents gathered at Arthur H. Smith Elementary School to take part in our second of five GSD Parent University classes set to take place between December 2018 and March 2019. The focus of these classes is to empower our families.

The theme of the second class was Golden Rule #2: Model the behavior you want to see in your children. Speakers took time to talk about setting an example for your children in everything from the tone of your voice to the words and actions you chose.
