The purpose of the Council is to develop coordinated and articulated programs by planning for and constantly evaluating the overall design of the instructional program, initiating curriculum studies, considering the results of these studies, and making recommendations to the Superintendent.
The recommendations from Curriculum Council will be presented to the Board of Education by the Superintendent. The Board of Education is ultimately responsible for the curriculum of the school district.
